These days I am very busy with commitments, I am here now, I want to raise today’s blog high and share it as much as possible! I decided to write something about a very interesting topic for today. Yes, you can see what it’s all about! Today’s topic will be about What is a ranch, and how to apply this style in your home? Trust me, this is something we all want. If you are ready because I am!

What is Ranch and why we need this style inside our homes and apartments?

The ranch-style house is noted for its long, close-to-the-ground profile, and wide-open layout. The style fused modernist ideas and styles with notions of the American Western period of wide-open spaces to create a very informal and casual living style. Interior space in this ranch house is with open concept space, if you love a huge space, this is definitely for you!

But, how it looks like the inside of this house?

Of course, almost everyone knows from watching old western movies, not to mention cowboy ones. Which were just filmed on these beautiful ranches, I have always admired this style of house. In addition, all the movies, series that I watch today on TV, I mostly watch because of the arrangement of homes. I wonder what their homes look like (where it is filmed) from ceiling to floor.

This is one great example above in the picture, where you can see better and closer what kind of houses we are talking about. Of course, all these ranches are very spacious, and the space around the house is large. Well, often next to homes like this you can see large pastures as well as farms. In some parts of the country, while somewhere you also have ranches with large gardens and spacious pastures that have no farm but have divine expanses.

Let’s talk about ranch styles inside of the house, why we should try and more?!

In such homes, but also in the styles inside the apartments, earth tones prevail. And how you have learned through my articles so far. The best color combination that goes well together are of course pastel colors! Don’t forget neutral colors, but cool colors are also great with earthy tones.

What are those “cool colors and tones,” can you remember? If not at the bottom of the list I will leave you what those colors are and plus what are the warm colors.

• blue;
• purple;
• green;
• Warm colors:
• orange;
• yellow;
• red.

Now that we have repeated a little about colors, we can continue about the characteristics of this beautiful American style.

The living rooms are recognizable by their beautiful fireplaces. Wooden details, even here if you are not a fan of the old log cabin style. You can combine plywood on the walls to create a modern style in this rancher style. About plywood and how you can apply it, read here, it is very useful. You can combine it everywhere!

What I can confirm to you first hand is that ranch style allows you to “play” with styles. Trust me, with these styles you can combine the most common: Scandinavian style, Japanese style, Industrial style. There is certainly a great modern style, which allows you to combine and enjoy the decoration.

Where would I recommend this style, and to whom?

My recommendation would be to apply this style in large living rooms. Also, if your apartment or house is an “open concept” you can also apply this. Who is this style for? This style is for everyone who loves this style, but also for everyone who has large rooms. Whether it is a living room or a bedroom.
