Good morning my friends! How are you, I’m not too bad because all night I have headaches because of my tooth pain. Hope so I will be ok. I love that clean look for a bedroom. So my today title is Scandinavian bedroom style.
What is exactly the Scandinavian style?
The Scandinavian interior design is characterized by minimalism, simplicity, and functionality.
It’s a very simple style that you can combine with other styles without thinking about overdoing it. Because the Scandinavian style is something we especially need in bedrooms.
Why you must have wondered once? In the bedroom we want to feel peace, relaxation, because we spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping.
What exactly is the this style of decorating?
- Accessorize with warm textiles
- Choose simple decorative accents
- Combine wood + metal finishes
- Decorate with plants and fresh flowers
- Focus on neutral colors
- Choose light-colored flooring
- Proper lighting is key
The second name for this style is simplified. If you don’t like all that modern trends or other combinations your style is defiantly Scandinavian style. I love it too when it is simple.
But if you really want to commit to this interior style, you won’t regret giving your walls a fresh coat of paint.
When you search the internet for something more about this style, the first thing you come across is to paint your walls white. The white walls are just what sets the Scandinavian style apart from the other styles.
Also, what I want to write is if you want to see how it looks like when you mixed two or three design styles you can do here.
As you can see in this picture, the bedroom is decorated in Scandinavian style. But I would add that this is also a bit of a minimalist style.
Besides white walls being a trademark of this style, wood color is also one of the Scandinavian style signs.
Which colors are great for the Scandinavian bedroom style?
The monochrome colors are the major colors used in the Scandinavian style. White or off-white walls are very ideal as they create a bright, clean backdrop.
White, gray, blue, black, and cream color are mostly using color in Scandinavian furniture. Those colors are Scandinavian’s natural colors and become a trademark.
