Who is a travel blogger who found love on the trip?

  1. Introduce yourself briefly, and try to describe yourself in 4 sentences, I know it’s hard: D

My name is Laura Bronner and I am a travel writer and adventure-lover originally from New York. In 2010, I set off on what was meant to be a year of travel and 10 years later I’m still on the road traveling and documenting my adventures on Eternal Expat.

2. Can you tell us how you came up with the idea to go on a trip, I read your story on the blog, about you going on a trip with $ 2,500?

I saved up for over a year to be able to travel with my boyfriend after we graduated from college. After buying my ticket to New Zealand (where we were going to start the trip), I only had about $2,500 left.

We were planning to work while we were in New Zealand. So I thought that would be enough to get me started. The plan was to live in New Zealand for 6 months, save as much money as possible. And then traveling to Australia and then maybe into South East Asia.

But I loved New Zealand so much and I was really enjoying my job there. So I decided to stay for the entire length of my visa, one year. That year changed my life!

After spending a year working and living and traveling in New Zealand. I realized I wanted to keep going, so I applied for a similar visa in Australia and just kept going!

Let’s find out which style of interior design he prefers the most and why?

3. Which style of interior design do you prefer the most and why? What inspires you, what style of home can you say is you?

I love a sort of Boho-chic style of design in my homes. I’m something of a minimalist, so I love white walls. Simple but comfortable furniture in muted earth-tone colors like light browns, pale blues, greens. I want to feel like I’m close to the beach, even if I’m not.

On top of the abundant beaches on the smaller islands, there are also plenty of gorgeous beaches on the main island around El Nido. The peach-colored sand of Buena Suerte Beach surrounded by towers of limestone formations is a sure favorite, as is the lesser crowded Marimegmeg Beach which is known for having the best sunset view on the island. That’s such a hard question! I love every place I’ve been to for different reasons. New Zealand was the first place I ever lived on my own as a working adult so it holds a special place in my heart.

How to travel to Australia, on a budget?

Australia is an incredibly beautiful country and living in Sydney was one of my favorite homes I’ve ever had. But if I HAD to choose, I would say Mexico.

The country is so varied – there are mountains, beaches, deserts, and jungles. The food is some of the best in the entire world. But the people are so warm and open-hearted. I absolutely love living in and traveling around Mexico.

Finally, tell us something that readers will remember you for and follow enthusiastically on social media?

One of my favorite quotes is by Hunter S. Thompson, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body. I want a life full of adventure, meeting new people, growing and learning, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone and that’s what I try to remember each and every day.
